Well, I've chosen to be rich but making that choice doesn't make it a  
reality.  I have chosen to be drunk on occasion but it is not a habit just  a 
confession that it happens at times.  And catholic merely means  "universal" so you 
must mean something else by that word.  There are good  and bad within 
everyone.  As Coosa said, "No one is perfect."  To be  Christian, or Jewish, or 
Muslim, or Hindu, or some other religion is a personal  choice.  Whether Ted 
Kennedy is Catholic has nothing to do with the  religion but was a family decision 
when he was born and he just never chose  anything else, nor should he.  There 
is within that religion a path to  spirituality and some within it choose to 
tread that path and some do not  understand what they believe nor put their 
faith into action.  What TK does  is his responsibility, and not a result of his 
religion.
