Valerie Hurt told me a game warden called her to alert PATH that Mountain 
Lion prints have been taken in the area of south Burkes Garden to Thompson 
Valley(away from PATH's section).  He was not too concerned for human 
traffic since the deer are plentiful in that area.  Deer carcasses have 
been found wedged in trees 20-40' off the ground. 
 As always use caution and be alert when hiking, especially alone.
