Anything else: I have been lurking this list for over a year, after reading Jan's journal.  You folks have kept me company many a lonely night (my family is in Florida, I am working in MD.)  Made it to Traildays and the Gathering last year.  Spent a night in the back woods of SNP last fall just to see if I could do it before I committed any more hard-earned bucks to gear for my thru hike.  Shared the evening with a very vocal coyote who spent the wee hours howling his anquish at a huge full moon. After the adrenaline wore off, I realized I was hooked.  I can't wait to get back out there....
