[at-l] A re-intro of sorts...

Hey all,

I have to say it's been a while!  A rather long while, actually...  I think
the last time I was on this mailing list was back in '97 or so, though
looking at the membership list I still see some familiar faces!  **waves hi
to Felix, Jim & Jinny Owen, Jim Bullard, Weathercarrot, and a few that I
can't recall to mind at the moment!**  Life has gone on for me since my
plans for my thru-hike fell through years ago, but it still haunts me and I
will do it, even if it means doing it via section hikes!

I'm still in the Army up here in Canada (and will be getting deployed in
August, though there's a chance I'll be going much sooner), I've since
gotten married to a wonderful man, I bought a house while I was still on my
own, and am just biding my time till my time is, well, mine!  You
know....that magical day where you win the lottery and don't have to work
for other people anymore.  ;o)  I am still just as addicted to the outdoors
as I was the last time I was a member here, though my fixes are fewer and
farther between than I would like these days.  Maybe being back here again
will help me reorganize my priorities again!

Anyway, nice to be back and hope all is well for everyone here.  Can't wait
to hear the hiking stories!  :)
