I have always felt uncomfortable with it. Two years ago I went to a presentation for my mother given by the VFW. She had five sons that served in the military that were decorated to a different degree. They asked me to talk some so I did. When I was done a little girl asked me what I had done to receive the silver star and did I feel like a hero. I thought a minute and told her my brother that was killed in Viet Nam was the hero. I had never considered myself anything but a good friend to the friends that were with me and back then they gave me the award for what today would be called road rage. I lost my temper and threw a class A temper tantrum.

Trying to analyze why some XP users can and some (like me) can't. I have a 3rd party wireless keyboard which required it's own driver. Perhaps that is why the keyboard shortcuts don't work the same for me. Are you using a plain-jane standard keyboard that came with the PC?

P.S. there's a really nifty bit of software here <http://www.ergonis.com/products/popcharwin/index.html>. I downloaded the DEMO which has some of the characters dimmed (disabled). At $29.99 it's a bit pricey unless you are someone who uses special characters on a regular basis. A ° symbol once in a while wouldn't be worth it. That one BTW was inserted with PopChar using 3 clicks, one to open it from the system tray, the second for the nag screen and the third to insert. A licensed copy would require only 2.

"Guys are riding their motorcycles."

I ride mine until it goes down to freezing...then I stop, in case someone washed their car or watered their lawn.

But yeah, the "weekend warriors" were out in force...

Subject: [at-l] Bearfoot's Book - Chase & Miss Gorp?

I was wondering if anyone has read the book "Bearfoot"? I have been reading it and in it the author speaks of "Chase" and "Miss Gorp". I'm wondering if that is our Chase and Miss Gorp? So far a good read, nothing out of the ordinary, simply the author's email's that he sent back to his scribe to send out and now published in a book.
