[at-l] Re: Cambodia

Angelina supposedly has a house on the outskirts of the Cardamums where
she's putting a lot of philanthropy into stopping poaching and logging . . .
with out much success I should add. You don't start up an NGO with millions
of bucks and no experience unless you want to get taken to the cleaners. I
didn't see Angelina there, but her picture was in a menu next to a drink at
The Red Piano, a restaurant in Siem Reap, the town near the Angkor Wat ruins
. . .
My brother lives in Phnom Penh with his family where he is country director
for USAID. He and I together figured out my itinerary for my two weeks and
he used his contacts to make arrangements for my trip to Rattanakiri.
Otherwise, he drove me down through the Elephant Mountains to Kep, through
Kampot, up to Bokor, and back to Phnom Penh. Later he drove me up to Siem
Reap and left me there to explore the ruins on my own and take a boat trip
back down the Tonle Sap to Phnom Penh. I've put up a few more picture shows
at that site:

and some images at:

and I'm starting my little web site for the trip to collect those links and
others to come at:
