So call the doctor. I hate it when the doctor gets me all worked up over

last time my doctor did that he dragged me through several days of tests,
didn't call me with the results and when I finally asked him point blank he
said "don't worry about it". Arrrrgh! Did I say I hate that?

I guess we all react to Doctors in different ways. My take on tests and
such is this: If there is something wrong with me (showing something abnormal
in the tests, etc.) then they will get in touch with me pronto. I am thinking
that they want to increase their income and there is no better way than to
get me to come back in for more tests, treatment, follow-up, X-rays, CAT
scans, and so on. If I feel good then I must be OK. If I don't feel right, then
I get on the phone to determine why it is that I have something to complain
about.

Of course, if they find something wrong and they do not call me then (if I
feel good) I use the interim time to enjoy life. Denial is a great defense
mechanism.
