[at-l] re:Suggestions



I'm getting some great advice,  I have been contimplating the start of the AT,  but my fear is that I will start and will not stop! LOL    I am looking at doing either the Northern VA or Tennessee... HMMM  I will have to break out the maps... ( I LOVE reading maps!)

Nothing like starting at the beginning. I would just start out from Springer. Ga/Nc mountains are beautiful and that would be a great time of the year to hike them. April in the Whites - tough place to start a hike if you are not in top hiking condition.
If you just want scenery, try the Roan Highlands or the Va Highlands.
