I talked to him last night.  He and Pilot are/were staying at a motel
just south of Roanoke.  Doing well, though he said it was harder than he
thought.  They're hoping to do the entire Parkway and finish next
Wednesday or so.  He said he'd tried to send a 'so-long for now' message
to the list before leaving, but his 'puter was acting up...Just so's you
know, we stayed on topic and didn't talk about any infamous list
members, anonymous or not.  ;-)
