I gave a talk on hiking the AT a couple of weeks ago.  I told them  
that from what I could tell, a lot of people on the trail spent a lot  
of time thinking Deep Thoughts.. but that I just liked to hike.   And  
bop along to my ipod.  A person can spend too much time in her own  
head.
