Actually, no.  The pumps in Jefferson didn't fail, and the levees in
Jefferson only broke in one place (where they always break).  I have had
communication with the Mayor of Harahan - the city I live in - and he
observed my house directly.  No water.  My neighbor's carport is still in
existence - which is kind of surprising.

I live inside 12 mile point, and the river there (Mighty Mississippi) makes
it's own weather.  It doens't hurt that I live in the highest point in
Jefferson Parish...

I'll have an update for ya'll later.  I have a lot of communication with
folks on the ground there.  I'll be going back on Monday.
