OK - try this - which occured to me belatedly, is the way it should have 
been phrased it in the first place -
1. All intrepid are too stupid to quit. (by definition)
2. Not all "stupid" are stupid to quit (Stupidity=Intrepidity is not true)

Of course - YMMV <G>
