Wonder why we need so many lists?

Strange. I was going through some ancient
USENET logs and realized I'd exchanged
words with Ryan Brooks ... years before
I found the AT-L list.
Any folks here hiked with Lone Wolf from
Whiteblaze.net? I did, for several weeks,
back in 1990. He's done mega miles on the
AT, but never end-to-end. Quit in Gorham. Twice.
It was from his lips that I first heard the
expression, "hiker trash."
