I knew as soon as I made my statement/query on this type thread that I'd be
accused of siding with oil companies, etc. etc.  However, I just asked some
questions and time framed them with the parameters of eons or millennia,
that is thousands or millions of years.  The data that I'm aware of is
supported within the framework of merely hundreds of years.  So my question
remains:  Are we in a warming cycle of millennia or eons?  I ask this with
honesty, not taking any side.

 

This was posed to me by my cousin who is a Canadian patent attorney, a
partner in his corporation, and has a PHD in geology.  It wasn't a
rhetorical question as he didn't have an answer, but gave a consideration of
possibilities.  So I ask, show me the data.  I'm convinced by all kinds of
data that we are warming and have some responsibilities for it.  But, how
much is our [humanities] fault?
