Ha! Stumpknocker is telling folks I used to be a good hiker but now I 
have carpet lint in my shoe treads.
;-)

Actually, I'm probably going out to do a leg of NC's Mountains-To-Sea 
trail with Chief. He's been pestering me to get out of the cottage and 
into the woods.
He's nearing completion of it, sectioning over the the last year. 
Probably we'll do a chunk around Hanging Rock State park.

Sly and I had kicked around doing the Art Loeb or Black Mountain Crest 
trail, as they are short but compellingly beautiful trails, but 
coordinating our work schedules is tricky, as I have weekends and he 
doesn't. A hike up that way would do me a world of good.
