I hope not.  The TA list was educational - for nearly everyone.  As you said 
- it was also sometimes fun.  And sometimes frustrating - and always 
time-consuming.

So - while it might be fun, I don't have time.  In 2 weeks I'll be 
recovering from knee surgery, in just over 8 months (God willing and the 
creek don't rise), we'll be on the Mexican border in New Mexico - walking 
North to Canada.  In the meantime, I have a house to finish painting, a 
bathroom to tile and reassemble, sump pumps to rebuild, and a gaggle other 
odds and ends to wrap up - to say nothing of training for another thruhike.

At least I don't have to worry about losing my sanity - I left that on the 
AT a long time ago. <G>
Hmm - maybe I should go back to the AT and see if I can find it?
