See my response to Jim Owen.  If you think
cell phones are more destructive to the AT
than autos, highways and smog, you're not
being rational.

In all your rants about "cell phone induced
access points" you don't mention a much larger
danger:  autos, highways, and smog.  No,
you're more concerned about the ideological
purity of your fellow hikers.  You focus your
wrath on a shiny trinket that's nearly irrelevant
in the larger picture.
