[at-l] The Most Fun you've had on the trail

"...being content, satisfied,
relaxed, carefree, grinning like a child and happy
to be alive"?

As this is a family oriented, "G" rated list, I can't answer that in graphic
detail. However, it was back in '58 when I introduced a lovely redhead lass
from Texas to the AT and she introduced me to.... Well let's not go there,
but it sure was a lot more fun than the "good girl" resistant/ reluctances of
my HS experiences. We may not have hiked as many miles as I had anticipated,
but we sure covered far more ground and had far more fun.

Chainsaw

BTW -- There was even some "bona fide laughter." And it had altogether to do
with who I was with, not the scenery, unless you consider the scenery she also
provided/ improved on. I can still picture....

Change of subject? What's the most fun you've
ever had on the trail? I'm not necessarily talking
about spirit quests.

Thinking more about fun -- being content, satisfied,
relaxed, carefree, grinning like a child and happy
to be alive. Bonus points for bona fide laughter.

I don't have an answer exactly, but I think it had as
much to do with who I was with, as it did with the
scenery.
