[at-l] I am a thruhiker

I'm a thruiker. I'm here to tell people what they want to know about 
thruhiking, but I don't give them answers to questions they don't ask.  I 
care about thruhikers.  I care about the Trail - ALL the Trails.  I don't 
care what thruhikers carry - I DO care that those who teach them what to 
carry don't fill'em full of goose droppings.  I care about "MY" next 
thruhike. I care about "your" thruhike only to the degree that I want to you 
be successful in whatever terms "you" define success.  I don't care what 
anyone thinks of "me" - or my thruhikes.  I don't deliberately tell lies - 
but I do sometimes make mistakes.  But then I'm not a novelist and I don't 
play one on television. I'm here to talk about the trail and I wish more 
people were.   But you play the hand you're dealt.  I don't care why "you" 
are here as long as you don't screw over other people.  Those who do so will 
find themselves being treated with the same degree of respect and civility 
that they give to the other people who live here. I am a thruhiker - I am 
also a human being.  And I care.  YMMV
