[at-l] The Maine Logging Road Routes Were Hell

         On my southbound through Maine I spoke to some experienced New 
England AT hikers who told me the logging road routes were muck and mire hell 
during the summer. They spoke of walking through tangle and skirting bogs in order 
to keep out of the deep mud. They also spoke of quagmire mud pits that sucked 
you boots off...
