Take I-40 north out of Asheville.
Exit 15 take a right (east). That's white oak road.
In about 4 or 5 miles the road bares left and becomes Max Patch road.
Follow it all the way to the parking lot.
When I did this, I had no problem finding it at all. Of course, I use
GPS guidance. That might have helped.
You can also take exit 24 which is Highway 209. follow that, north/east
until you get to Max Patch road. There is a short cut off to the left,
at a 90* bend to the right, you will have to take; either price town
road or the no named one just before it.
I would be glad to scan my map and send it to you. Just let me know.
T.
