Does anyone have any more information about a bear that bit a hiker in a shelter in NJ?  Apparently it was a couple of weeks ago, but it's just coming to light.  One of the articles said that part of the trail in that area had been closed for several days, though.  Do we know who the hiker was?  The papers that the Google alerts uses didn't say.  Very strange.  The bear was caught, identified by means that they declined to reveal, and killed.  anklebear
