[at-l] Why Cell Phones are Banned in some Parks

Cell phones are banned in some parks for a reason similar to the one being used to ticket vehicle drivers who have a cell phone next to their ear (or are even talking on a cell phone).   BECAUSE they are distraction to the person with the phone.

Picture this:  Woman chatting to friends excitedly doesn't see bull moose charging her.
                     Teenager chatting with giggly friends doesn't see switchback and gets lost in the woods and can't tell anyone where she is.
                     Man telling friend all about his hike makes a misstep on a narrow ridge and ends up 300 feet below in a rocky ravine with his neck broke.

Do Not Blame The Cell Phone.  Blame The Idiot Conversing On It.

I just made up the reason, but it kind of makes sense.
