Well, I'm off to bed. I like to read for a while before going to sleep. 
Currently I'm reading "White Blaze Fever" by Bill Schuette who BTW mentions 
a phone call that affected his hike. One day after hiking through rain and 
cold for the umpteenth time he was feeling mighty low and having doubts 
about going on. He called home and got some words of encouragement that 
bucked him up to keep going.
