Sign me up for one of those "computer generated ATs". I'll just sit the
scouts down in front of a screen and they can earn the "virtual Hiking"
merit badge. If they bring a bookbag to the class we can credit them for
the "virtual Backpacking" merit badge. Don't laugh, they'll all qualify for
LNT too.

I have a workable idea.
Why not do it as a cartoon (like A Shark's Tale) and just use Newman's and
Redford's voices?
It could work, don't laugh.
And then the cartoonists/webdesigners could use all the photos of the AT
that are all over the Internet to create their version of the AT.
If they're going to make a . . . movie (got distracted), I'd rather see it
made as a cartoon than see all that equipment lugged up the Trail for a few
'authentic' photos to meld with the computer generated AT.
