[at-l] Virginia Trip - 64M card

I was just informed that the card was intercepted on its way to the dryer -
but did not actually go through the heat - whew!.

What makes all this even more embarrassing (if that is possible) is that *I*
loaded the washer with my dirty hiking clothes. She found the card when
moving the clothes to the dryer. (She won't get close to my dirty hiking
stuff -- can't say I blame her - pew!)

I've been taking pictures since I was 11 (thats 31 years), including stints
on our college yearbook and newspaper staffs and including work in my own
darkroom downstairs. I've probably taken 10000 pictures on film - and have
*never* lost a negative or a roll of film or a camera. However, since I
switched to digital I've had one card break in two, another card just stop
working (after I put images on it of course) and I've drowned a camera and
smacked a camera into a rock (by accident) and popped its lenses out. Its
all topped off with this weekends "missing" card. I'm ready to go back to
film - it was less stressful!

:-)
