That's nonsense, but I'm not here to argue that point,
rather to comment on this:

Why stop there, Roks? Why not justify paving the trail
with HUMAN SKULLS were that the price of preserving 
the greenway? I know you're up to it. 

Besides, if you *really* want to drive your point home
to the readers, you should mention a Nazi regime instead.
Too many people have a soft spot for commies -- after all, 
they "meant well." Someone possessing a finely-tuned 
understanding of means and ends, such as yourself, should
realize the rhetorical weakness of invoking communism in
this context.

Did any of you people catch that?

I realize that I expect a lot from animals with opposable 
thumbs, but c'mon...This has to be the most ethically-
challenged post I've read on this list. It makes his quip
about stepping on landowners sound downright Jeffersonian
in comparison.
