           Good. Then maybe not questioning people who suggest the remaining 
wildness be acknowledged and fought for would be a good thing. Too many AT 
members seem to take the position of critiquers of the Trail's right to its cause 
rather than actual backers of that cause itself. These people are fiddling 
while the Trail is burning...
