No boiling water needed for the flameless heating kit.  It utilizes a chemical reaction between the salt tablets and the heat
activation pad to create the 100 degrees of heat for 20 minutes.  No need for a stove.  No need for a pot.  Use the pouch meals with
a pouch cozy from TinMan and place one of the heaters inside after adding water to your food.  It heats the food right up without a
flame.

If you're pouring boiling water into the pouch, anyway, why do you need the Flameless Heating Kit?  Won't a cozy do the job just as
well, with now fuss and bother?  Low tech minds want to know....... anklebear
