          Greyowl is suggesting that conservation and the AT are silly and 
that corporations raping the Trail will teach those silly people what's good for 
them by damaging the Trail with towers.

            Greyowl has outlined the AT's purpose very well here. The only 
problem is he's come to the wrong conclusion. This sounds like an admittance 
that cell phones are bad for the AT. That their use and demand by the public is 
counter to conservation objectives. Only if you asked that directly I'm sure 
you would be attacked for it. The message being sent here is that the Verizon 
representative stands for hard reality and that notions of preserving natural 
conditions are hypocritical.
