We did as backpackers always do -- waited until it let up and then had a soaking wet parade without the bands or bagpipes or the Food City Cart.

  To those coming home from Trail Days: what did they do about the parade?  It was impossible to have one in the rain and lightning/thunder when I left, and the streets were flooded.  Just curious.  anklebear
