The others will be coming home from now into next week.  I'm anxious to hear what they have to say about the week-end.  As for me, I'll go on record as having had a good time.

What you missed was your name called out at the GoLite booth for some prizes.  YES, on Sunday early afternoon they finally called your name.

I ended up with a new MSR cap, an LNT nalgene, 3 small platys as give aways (and I traded a button for the hat).

TD was great, great to see so many people.  And I'm fixing a date to retire and hike the trail.  Tentatively, the first of either May or June 2008, for my retirement date.  It depends on how long it takes to get all the financial part of retiring taken care of.  I plan to start my hike the first of June or the first of July, probably from Harpers Ferry North and then back to HF and hike South.

I will have an 18 year old in tow (non-related grandson of a friend).  Or maybe he'll tow me up the PA-Rocks.

I have all my gear but I think I'd like to have a new tent -- maybe the GoLite Lair?  Anyone have any comments besides to check out backpackgeartest?
