[at-l] More on Chopsticks

I didn't know this, maybe others here don't either:

Chopsticks are the main utensil used in many Asian cultures and their popularity has spread worldwide. Made with many different types of material such as bamboo, plastic, lacquer, enamel or wood, they can also be fashioned from such precious resources as silver, ivory, jade or gold. As a rule, the top end of the chopsticks is bigger and square-shaped while the bottom is smaller and either round (Chinese style) or pointed (Japanese style). Chinese-style chopsticks are generally longer than the Japanese-style chopsticks. While chopsticks are most commonly used as eating utensils, women of all cultures often use them as decorative hair pins to fasten long hair with an Asian flair.
