Since my wife is still working I try to do my walking during the week so we 
can do other things together on the weekend (she doesn't hike). Last 
Saturday was an exception since I was photographing a canoe/kayak outing 
(running along the shore as they paddled between rapids) so I had to go 
when the canoeists/kayakers were going to do their thing.

This weekend they are forecasting cold rain and possibly SNOW! Yuck! I've 
had enough of that for a few months. I need to make a maintenance trip to 
my adopted shelter soon. I normally wait until late May because the trails 
are so muddy that DEC asks everyone to stay off them in April/early May but 
this winter there was little snow so I don't expect a lot of mud.
