Are there nuns who are not Catholic? Since I don't see where anyone else has fielded this question, the answer is, "Yes". We're Episcopalian, and we have monks and nuns. And that's what they're called. I think that Lutherans have them, too. So, no, saying "Catholic nun" is not a redundancy. anklebear
