I agree he flip flopped.... On everything. 
At least Bush kept repeating the same message.
Too bad it was the wrong message for the environment.
The only thing that got him elected was religion. 
I guess if you believe in God, nothing else matters... Because he sure is 
gonna screw everything else up. Religion is good for the masses I  guess,
I have no use for it if the planet gets destroyed and we all are dead.  YMMV
 
There were no Good candidates, just "less Bad" ones... The environment 
lost this election, we just need to see what we can do to slow the damage 
until the next election. And find a better person to run.
