[at-l] Did Any of You Ever Read the Book FORREST GUMP?

If you did, you probably expected to read some of the hilarious lines in the 
movie.  If you did, you found that, instead of that, you were reading a rather 
dry, uninspiring account of a mentally-challenged young man.  What screen 
writers can do to a concept is amazing!

Bryson would come out heroic (sexy); Katz, bumbling (fat or lean, definitely 
alcoholic).  The trail would be wrought with scary but funny traps.  The 
location could be anywhere there are rhodys.  Some scenes might be at the real 
spot, like McAfee Knob.  Or that spot would be played with so that it looked like 
Katz was dangling from it.
