Kahley Was RE: [at-l] Hike ended short after 13 miles

I publicly apologize to Lilla. The subjrct does not haave
anything to do with the subject line (Who says evolution is
not working) and my old and addled mind has let me down yet
again.

I do not know the details of Kahley's disappearance from this
list, but it bolied down to her ealization that whe would
never have the opportunity to hike the trail. Many years ago
Solar Bear was going to be in PA and he organized an AT-L
hike. Pitts was ther along with Jim and Ginny and a few
other list members. Solar Bear wrote up a trip report that
can be found in the archive someplace (hike took place July
27th 1998). Kahley provided coffee, and a shuttle.
Wonderful person with a slightly bent sense of humor. Boy,
do I miss her. Also miss Solar Bear's Post. I think he
still lurks, Hey Solar, Hi Pitts. Goodnight Kahley,
whereever you are.

Besides which, I don't have that particular problem ;-)
