Properly dried, i.e. little moisture, will retain most nutrition, still be
tasty but not full flavor and be edible way beyond the stated expire date.
If properly sealed insects/worms should not affect it. The strongest affect
on shelf life is temperature of storage. Freezing it is best for long
storage.
