  OMG, Shelly, please tell me she is okay. When I read this I couldn't 
believe it. Why does stuff like this have to happen? 

I'm sure you're an emotional wreck right now! I'm so sorry about your 
daughter, that is so terrible!  Thank God she is in the hospital and will recover. 
Please tell Jerrica she is a very brave little girl.  We are praying for you 
that she will be okay mentally after all this.  Hopefully the infection clears up 
soon and she is able to go home :-) 

Just last Wednesday our Pomeranian got attacked and killed by the neighbors 
pitbulls. Two of them jumped over the fence in our backyard and jumped him. We 
noticed too late. They were playing tug-of-war with him. My husband was out 
there so fast with his bat and beat one of those pitbulls so bad it killed him. 
The other one jumped back over the fence and got away. Too bad!  I'm sorry, 
this is just the way I feel.  I'm still in shock and emotional over the whole 
ordeal. My two little boys are too. I keep thinking how that could have been one 
of them back there playing.  

Our dog was part of our family, but obviously this is much more serious. I do 
not understand why people have to own such dogs. Now I do not want to hear 
anybody rant about how all Pitbulls or Rottweilers are not this way. I don't 
want to hear it. In our case the neighbors mistreat their dogs and use them for 
fighting. They have attacked other dogs and even the same dog that just got 
killed, before. Last time this happened we spent over $800.00 at the vet and put 
a fence around our whole backyard. Most people around here don't have fences, 
but we needed to. We thought we were protecting our animals.
