Well, not exactly.  There's a big difference between walking along a city sidewalk and slackpacking up a mountain.  A BIG difference.  My younger brother thought he was pretty cool until he went backpacking with me.  His exact quote was, "It's a lot harder to hike up a mountain than I thought it was."  That has given me such comfort through the years.  <G>  anklebear
