[at-l] PA Ruck

Home again after the best weekend a girl could wish for. Lots of hikers, good conversations and of course lots of food! I heard it was really cold outside, but after arriving Friday I didn't venture out till Sunday morning. It wasn't cold inside. It was great to finally put faces to names and to "remeet" people I've met before. (Stitches, grey owl, green briar, Marsha, Shelly-too many to remember!) Felix- I thank you for your potato soup. I had a craving for potato soup and magically there it was! yummie Marsha, in the midst of "organized" chaos the kitchen ran beautifully. I was really impressed. You spent most of the ruck working and I thank you for all your efforts. (My belly buddy thanks you too) There was a ton of food and I did my best to help eat it- grazing the entire time I was awake! ha ha ha I really got a kick out of people coming up with trail names for the baby. Nothing like having a trail name before being born and getting a "real" name. Looking forward to next year's ruck, although I won't have such a good excuse to eat as much. hummm that is a problem... darn. (wink wink)
Miss Janet- always great to see you. Thank you for all your advice. Now all I have to do is remember it all! You said that I should have a back-up coach and I agree... How many hours head start do you need? hehe ha ha don't worry I'm just joking with ya!
