[at-l] I came back



I dunno--depends.  When the weather was cool, I wore my wet socks to bed so
they'd dry (body heat and all.)  When the weather got warmer, that didn't work
any more because body heat wasn't high enough to lower the local humidity. If
your socks are damp in the morning, it's time to change strategies.

I had more trouble because of dirty socks chafing (Maryland and north) than
from wet ones melting my skin (in the south.)

I lost the owner's manual for this body of mine so it's all been one long
experiment.
