[at-l] SO Ruck Weekend Trip report

I have a few of these also:

10. You can bribe a ten-year old with a Nintendo charger.

9. Someone will jump through a bonfire if enough people encourage it.

8. A group of people will sing 60's folk songs...this is inevitable.

7. Hikers snore. Loudly. And not just one.

6. Clyde is tall...very tall. He is also right about number one on his list.

5. Kinnickinic is a girl. No...really...she is. She is also a flower.

4. Orange Bug has a second career waiting as a pig caller.

3. Lookout is a good dish washer. He is hired again for next year.

2. It's pretty much a minute a meatloaf. Meaning...in one minute...one meatloaf is gone.

1 1/2. You will inevitably meet someone that surprises you in some way.

1 1/4. Don't speed on a Sunday morning in North Carolina.

1. A year is too long to wait to see your friends again.

Things I learned at the Soruck...

  (1) It was worth the 9 1/2 hour drive.

  (2) The couch in cabin C is more comfortable than the couch in cabin D

  (3) Never drink wine from a gallon jug. It makes me think my singing is good.

  (4) Either channeling is real or we all need to get singing lessons from Cheryl. Janis Joplin was there.

  (5) Dawg is Female and I was not the only one that thought otherwise.

  (6) My music videos are o.k. even if my family don't like them or there are a lot of hikers with bad taste. Thank You for your kind words.

  (7) I like Chainsaw. He reminds me of my favorite Uncle that passed away last year.

  (8) Sloetoe could give parenting lessons. His son's are unbelievable.

  (9) Weathercarrot is young and wise.

  (10) My daughter is not the only piano thief I know. It must be a daughter thing Waterfall.

  (11) If you supply firewood others will do all the work and give you credit for it.

  (12) I am known to most folks as THEE Clyde. You know, the one that hiked with Liteshoe.

  (13)Life is Good

  THEE Clyde, Life is good
