[at-l] Satruday Night Fever Dinner

I am trying to figure out how we can get a disco ball up to NOC...but I digress (and I also kid).

Saturday Night Fever Dinner appears to be a sellout (ok, just maybe a rousing success!). All of ya'll have been so generous and so kind in emailing me and letting me know what you are bringing (and that you are bringing something) that I think we are going to have enough food to feed us and all the people in Murphy, N.C. that Eric Rudolph stole food from (haha). I had initially made out a huge list of stuff that we would need and was raiding the bank account.
I have been able to pare my huge list down due to your generosity and can do attitude.

Here is a final status as best I can tell by going through my emails), and I will see everyone Friday night around 7ish in the Dawgmobile.

Dawg: MeatLoaf, Potatoes, Green Beans or Peas, Disposable pans for Meatloaf and Ham
Miss Janet: Salad
anklebear: Salad Dressing and a Ham (in a pan from a Dawg)
Doug Mathews: Salad and a Store bought dessert
Greenbrier: Desserts (I am not ruining the surprise)
Linda B.: Deviled Eggs, White Chili, Bread and Rolls
Chainsaw: Veggie Dish for Saturday night and dishes on other nights
Dancin Free: s'mores fixings for 60 and plates, cups and silerware
Swallowtail: Salad add-ons (stuff besides greens)
Tin Man: Cups and plasticware
TN Tom: Ice if he gets the email

I know that there were other people that volunteered for stuff also. If there is anyone that wants to pick something up, and I don't have your name (and if I don't many apologies), the things we might run short on are as follows:

Dinner Rolls
Salt and Pepper
PaperTowels (We could probably use a roll)
a Disposable sponge for dishes
A small bottle of Dawn
Aluminum Foil or Baggies for leftovers
Plastics bowls (these are good for breakfast and desserts and salad, but I had a volunteer for about 50 of them)
TRASH BAGSSSSSSSSSSS

Also, just so that you know, I am bringing a few kitchen things to cook with since we have to bring everything. I am throwing it all in a LL Bean Boat Tote, and everyone is welcome to share. Utensils (cooking kind), a mixer (not mashing 10 lbs of potatoes by hand), a few knives, mixing bowl, Hot pads, can opener, two large pots (one for potatoes and one for green beans). I would rather be prepared than sorry and out of luck.

The one thing left that I need for Saturday is volunteers to cut up potatoes...I feel sinister like Count Olaf saying 'I will find my victims.'

Until Friday...
