[at-l] Did somebody say Spandex?

For those of you who aren't familiar with Dancing Fool, I found my '97
journal entry. Fool was a cocky 18 yr old from Maine, and irritated most
everyone he came in contact with, but hey, most of us have probably been
there at one time or another. He was arrested and thrown in jail in
Damascus for turning cartwheels in the parade, wearing a kilt with nothing
underneath. The story goes that the officer told him, "Boy, we don't do
things like that down heah." A hiker named jzero wrote this poem and
recorded it in the Paul Wolfe Memorial Shelter log book:

There once was a Fool who went dancing,
In a skirt he was spinning and prancing,
When along came the wind, and the cops hauled him in,
For wearing his skirt without panties.

I'd still be careful in Damascus. Do you remember the story of Dancing Fool
and his troubles at the parade?
