pioneer conservationist. The Adirondack 46ers (of which I am #3232) owe 
their origins to the Marshall brothers who set out to climb all the 
Adirondack peaks then listed as being 4000 feet or more. Although 3 were 
later discovered to be less than 4000 feet, we still climb the same 46 
mountains in pursuit of 46er status.
