go for the hike. at 24 after med school i had an opportunity to go to  
Rakahanga in the south pacific. Instead i did the sensible thing and did my  
residency right away. Dumbest decision I ever made- go for the hike.U can be  
responsible and sensible later in life. Always err on the side of stupidy,you'll  be 
much happier. Jim
