[at-l] Just got off the phone with Mrs. Shaw

I just got off the phone with Mrs. Shaw.  I shared with her some of the
remarks others made about his passing and it really lifted her spirits!

The funeral is today (December 9th).  The family is not sure what they are
going to do with the boarding house business and will sit down to talk about
it over the next few weeks.  What a loss.

In 2002, I stayed with the Shaw's and later, at the Andover Guest House with
"Peg Leg."  Only two years later and both are gone?

I sure have been blessed as a hiker to have known each man.
