[at-l] Why?!---

Shane,

A few years ago I found a book for my nephew. It
was truly a find! I can remember neither the
title nor the author, but here are some details
about this book, considered a classic (so a
knowledgeable clerk should be able to find it for
you, or perhaps someone else on the list will
recognize the book?):

A bear builds a simple house in the forest using
materials he finds in the area. (The title, as I
seem to recall, comes from this basic scenario.
That is, something like, ".....Bear Builds a
House.")

'Turns out this simple tale, featuring some
exquisite artwork, is a children's journey into
the world and musings of Thoreau, a Walden's Pond
for the kiddies!

Good luck finding the perfect gift!
